~Summer Day Camps~

 

Hannink Equine offers summer camps for all levels of riders.

Shawna Thornton instructs our beginner camps.  1 week camps that fill a child’s morning with everything to do with horses.  Open to kids ages 6-12.  Horses and supplies are included.

Some of the programs will include:

·          English riding (mounted and un-mounted)

·          Basic equine science

·          Arts and Crafts

·          Games

·          Snacks

Our intermediate/advanced camps are instructed by Jen Hannink.  3-4 days of intense training for riders just like basketball or soccer camp

Camps feature a separate flat and jumping session each day as well as an afternoon riding theory seminar. 

Programs include:

·          Round table discussions

·          Videoed flat/jumping lesson (take home DVD)

·          Physical training

·          Sports Psychology

·          Course walking and analysis

·          Riding theory
