Sales Hannink Equine Center helps you save time and money by taking advantage of our customized rating system. We strive to put together a partnership between horse and rider. We believe that the ability of both is very important. To better match horses and riders we have come up with a scale of riding ability. Our sales horses are listed along with a brief description and the level of rider that we feel will best suit their needs. Beginner- A novice or timid rider that can walk and trot comfortably. Educated Beginner- A horse savvy beginner that understands basic horsemanship and is comfortable on the ground around horses. A rider that easily walks, trots, and canters. Advanced Beginner- A rider that is very comfortable around horses and can easily walk, trot, and canter while learning to jump. Intermediate- A rider that is beginning to jump hunter-type courses and can transition between gaits smoothly and quietly. Advanced Intermediate- A rider that completely understands the use of hand and leg, is jumping multiple courses, and can sit through a minor spook. Advanced- A rider that can ride and bring along a green horse, and is comfortable with young and inexperienced horses.

8 year old warm blood mare, 15.3+h. This mare is sired by Pikadero and out of a Landadel mare. Shown lightly this year she is already doing 3'9" courses and proving her ability to be a competitive show jumper, she shows the heart of both her sire and her dam. She is a talented jumper, brave, and good minded giving her the great qualities of a show horse and the power to jump the grand prixs. Advanced
Royal Flush 7 yr old 17.2 Oldenburg gelding by Rubignon out of a Cheenook mare. Royal although started late is catching up with a flare. This horse could either go to the jumper ring or the equitation ring successfully. Traveling in an up right frame makes him easy to package for his size. He has great form and is showing a great interest in jumping. Shown lightly this past spring he has been consistently in the ribbons in the 1.0 m- 1.10m jumper classes. Advanced intermediate

Raggedy Anne Video 10 yr old, TB cross, Brown roan, mare, 16.2. This mare’s early years were with a polo rider and she is now learning to be a more sophisticated ride. She has a great stride, is comfortable to ride, super jumping form, loves to jump and is very athletic…she will be a very competitive horse in any ring. Annie has enough stride with good form over fences to be a hunter or equitation horse. Or use her scope and go to the jumper ring. This is a very talented mare. Advanced Intermediate
16 h, TB, 9 yrs. old, gelding, no papers. Keat's early training was doing hunter paces, after having arrived at Hannink Equine we have been giving Keat the more traditional hunter/equitation training. Keat has good form over fences with a ground covering stride. He is well balanced and comfortable to sit on. Keat has solid lead changes on course and is still refining his flat work for the equitation classes and medals. He is quite a nice horse and will be competitive in the B level or county level shows. Mariska had a successful career as a Young riders Jumper and is ready to retire to teach yet another rider the skills of horsemanship. She is a very easy horse to ride and has had extensive mileage on the flat, she could easily go to the dressage ring as a 1st or 2nd level horse or back to the low jumper ring and be competitive. Risky Business Born in 1995, imported from Holland as a young rider show jumping horse she has the experience to teach the intermediate rider a lot. Risky, retired from show jumping, is a great dressage horse with upper level movements in her repertoire she can help a young rider gain the skills for the dressage ring and has the carriage and grace to be a success.
