Sales Hannink Equine Center helps you save time and money by taking advantage of our customized rating system. We strive to put together a partnership between horse and rider. We believe that the ability of both is very important. To better match horses and riders we have come up with a scale of riding ability. Our sales horses are listed along with a brief description and the level of rider that we feel will best suit their needs. Beginner- A novice or timid rider that can walk and trot comfortably. Educated Beginner- A horse savvy beginner that understands basic horsemanship and is comfortable on the ground around horses. A rider that easily walks, trots, and canters. Advanced Beginner- A rider that is very comfortable around horses and can easily walk, trot, and canter while learning to jump. Intermediate- A rider that is beginning to jump hunter-type courses and can transition between gaits smoothly and quietly. Advanced Intermediate- A rider that completely understands the use of hand and leg, is jumping multiple courses, and can sit through a minor spook. Advanced- A rider that can ride and bring along a green horse, and is comfortable with young and inexperienced horses.

6 year old warmblood gelding 16.2. Bred for the grandprix ring sired by Oh! Star (Olympic Star) and out of Indiscreet. Both of his parents are proven grandprix horses and this apple fell very close to the tree. He has proven himself as a competitive Jr. Hunter and Jr. Medal horse at top A shows. He is very kind, level headed, with enthusiasm for his job. His quiet demeanor will lend him to be suitable for an amateur or Junior rider. If you want a nice hunter/medal horse or something to develop into the upper jumper levels this is a very nice individual. Advanced Intermediate
13 year old 17.2 Holsteiner gelding by Alcatraz, Atlantic 32 was shown successfully on the east coast by a gentleman in Low Am Jumpers before coming to the west coast. Shown at the Hits shows in Indio of 06 by a young Jr. rider moving up to the 3’6” medals, he was consistently in the top placings. During the spring of 06 he was successful in the Jr. Hunters, and Jr. Medals. He returned to the HITS shows in Thermal carrying a novice rider to a championship in the Equitation division and ribbons in the Children Hunters. He is a great horse for riders to move up into the Jr. Hunters or Medals. Intermediate
Video Rd II Black 16.2, 7yr old, Oldenburg gelding imported from Europe. This is a wonderful horse to be around, always a gentlemen and looking to please you. He has a very classic jumping style, good mover, and is easy very easy to sit on. Confetti is heading to the hunter and equitation rings but is not afraid of the jumper ring where he had experience in Europe. He has an eye catching appeal, with the grace and charisma to go with it. Advanced Intermediate
6 year old warmblood mare, 15.3+h. This mare is a lovely mover out of Leopardin and sired by Pikadero. Just starting over jumps she shows the heart of both her sire and her dam. She is a talented jumper, brave, and good minded giving her the great qualities of a show horse. Movement from her sire could take her to the dressage ring with the form and power to jump the grandprix. As an investment horse she is well worth it. Advanced
Winsome 5 yr old black Oldenburg gelding stands 16.1 . Although Winsome is new to jumping he shows a great aptitude for the job. Very quiet in his demeanor and confident to the jumps he shows great promise to be a Jr or Amateur hunter and/or medal horse. He very comfortable to sit on, does lead changes naturally, has good balance, and a big step.

Romeo has beautiful form, ground covering stride, and is easy to ride. An excellent teacher for medals, hunters, or jumpers. Shown successfully in the medals, equitation, and hunter divisions by a jr. rider moving up from a pony. He qualified her for the local medals at 3' and is just as accommodating at 3'3''. He has won year-end Championships for PCHA, and Norcal in the Children's jumper. Advanced beginner
Certain Justice Video 14 yr old reg. Bay TB 16.3 gelding. Shown largely as well as successfully in the Jr. 3’3” medals and Modified Hunters this gelding is very lovely to watch. He has a big stride, good form, and great presence. He jumps from most anywhere and will carry most level of riders. Advanced intermediate
